Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route – Large road project with red squirrel, otter and water quality issues.
Achany Windfarm, Lairg - Upland windfarm with breeding birds, water vole, rare flora and water quality monitoring.
Stirling-Alloa Rail Re-opening - Breeding bird monitoring during construction.

Roads/Rail/Bridges

Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route – Lead botanical surveyor and mitigation specialist for large road project.
(Southern Leg Report; Survey Map; Mitigation Map) (Fastlink Report; Survey Map; Mitigation Map ).  Later employed as the Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) to ensure mitigation succeeded.
Upper Forth Crossing, Kincardine - Researched options and recommended strategies for salt marsh restoration.
Dumfries and Galloway Road Widening Projects - Assessed the impacts of works on the A75 and A76.
Norwich Northern Distributor Road – Conducted a Phase 1 habitat survey for major road project.
A303 Road Widening Project, Wiltshire – Extended Phase 1 survey with mitigation suggestions.
A3 Proposed New Route, Surrey - Inspected the route for invasive species, plus performed hedgerow surveys.
N6, Ireland - Surveyed areas of the N6 road corridor to inform the seed mix for landscape purposes.
Stirling-Alloa Rail Re-opening - Bird monitoring during felling for Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW).
Dobwalls, Cornwall: Merrymeet Roundabout - Performed ecological survey at proposed roundabout for baseline botanical survey.

Dalry Bypass, Ayrshire – Ecological input into Scottish Transport Appraisal Guidance (STAG) report.

Mining/Oil/Pipelines

Ferrexpo, Ukraine - Literature search to determine deficiencies and methods to close gaps in ecological data.
Oil projects, Libya - Review of various ecological field studies within the Sahara Desert.
Oued Amizour, Algeria –Ecological input for proposed large mining project adjacent to Biosphere Reserve.
Fal Estuary - Conducted a site survey using NVC of metal-contaminated wetland and salt marsh.
Wales & West Utilities - Ecological scoping studies to assess pipeline impacts, including in SACs & SPAs.
Bacton-Balgzand Gas Pipeline, Norwich – Carried out a habitat survey, including inter-tidal and maritime cliff.
Berwick Minewater Study – Examined compliance with the Dangerous Substances and Bathing Water Directives.
Impact of Mining on Salt Marsh Flora - Biomonitoring, plus floral community relationships with sediment.

Water Quality
Scottish Water Solutions – Investigated the impact of abstraction on water bodies in SW/ Central Scotland.
Low Flows in the River Granta, Cambridgeshire – Impact of abstraction on a wet SSSI woodland and CWS river.
Gremista Landfill, Shetland – Analysed failures in water quality standards and amending of trigger/ control levels.
North of Scotland Water Quality Monitoring – Analysed microbiological quality of raw and potable water.
Wadi Rayan, Egypt – Co-ordinated a water quality monitoring programme on the impact of non-point agricultural pollution in a Protected Area.
Listed by DfID as a Key Document.
Nitrate Vulnerable Zone, Ythan Estuary – Assessed nitrogenous relationships during storm events.

Windfarms/Renewables/Water Schemes

Whitelee and Harelaw Windfarms, West Scotland - Extended Phase 1 and NVC within upland environment.
Salsburgh Windfarm, Lanarkshire - Produced Action Plan and updated ES to address shortfalls in assessment.
Scottish Borders Windfarms   – Assessed the impact of Carcant and Kyle windfarms on the Scottish Uplands.
Hydropower Proposal, Assynt - Surveyed upland habitats, including quaking bog and montane vegetation.
Kenmare Water Storage, EirePerformed habitat survey on rural development using Irish habitat assessment.
Cambridge Rowing Lake - Surveyed an area characterised by fen, carr, streams and species-rich hedgerows.
Whitesands Flood Proposal, Dumfries-shire - Surveyed an urban and rural (floodplain) environment. 
Bridgewater Canal, ManchesterConducted River Corridor and protected species surveys, prior to maintenance.

ERC, Egypt - Reviewed, streamlined and updated EIA to upgrade from local standards to international quality.
Lostock Hall, Lancs - Responded to external ES criticisms, plus reviewed an ES from a competing development.
EBIC, Egypt - Vegetation, reptile and coastal bird surveys for an ammonium plant adjacent to the Red Sea.
Tilbury Power Station, Essex - Survey of a protected salt marsh for proposed new coal-fired stations.
Eco-village, Siwa, Egypt – Ecological assessment for low-intensity build near a salt lake.
Shields Road, East Kilbride - Phase 1 and NVC of wetland area with raised bog.
Dounreay Nuclear Waste Disposal, Caithness - Intensive habitat survey to assess homogeneity of a coastal heath.

ADAS upland monitoring, Yorkshire – Monitoring of mires & agri-environment schemes using JNCC surveys.
Brownsburn Park Regeneration - Extended Phase 1 on area with badgers, heathland and wetland habitats.
Torvean Quarry, Inverness – Management plan for geological SSSI
Highland Region – Biodiversity audit of Nairn District, Inverness-shire and Easter Ross using Phase 1 and NVC.
Wimbledon Common – Palynological analysis of historical pond. Used to inform management plan and reconstruction activities.
