this forerunner of 2000 AD sees blood-n-guts and limbs-a-flying mix
with environmental issues. This collection comprises the two pre-
ban storylines: "The Oil Rig" and "Paradise Island".

RENZO PODESTA Damage Circus is set in Japan in the far-flung future.
Following a post-apocalyptic war, war droids have become society's
playthings as they battle in gladiatorial arenas for survival. The
greatest of these robot warriors is Lash! But what makes a robot
fight so intensely for it's survival? After all, what interest in
existence could a mass of circuits and wires have? The answer is
lethal and shocking - perhaps this decadent society is far from
paradise?
Renzo Podesta is an Argentinian

described as 'rather good' by SFX Magazine.
